Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was delighted after his team beat Aston Villa in stoppage time, giving them a boost in their pursuit of a Champions League place.

Manchester City moved up to third in the Premier League table after Matej Nunes scored a stoppage-time winner to edge Aston Villa 2-1 at home on Tuesday.
“I’m really สมัคร UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีสำหรับสมาชิกใหม่ happy,” said Pep after the game. “We have four games left and we are challenging for a Champions League place.”
“Aston Villa are a team that fought until the end, one of the top teams in Europe, but we played really well. We were aggressive in one-on-ones and the back four was fantastic.”
“Football is full of emotion. The last two games were tough. We had a lot of pressure to get to the Champions League, so we are very satisfied.”
“I’m very happy. We tried not to lose after they drew 1-1. It’s not a bad result. The team fought hard, the performance was great. We are an amazing team.”
City’s last matches are Wolves at home, Southampton (away), Bournemouth (home) and Fulham (away). Guardiola praised Nunes and Nico O’Reilly, who again played out of position at right-back and left-back respectively. “If you tell me at the beginning of the season that at the end of the season you are fighting for the FA Cup final or to qualify for the Champions League with Matheus and Nico at full-back, I’d say: what are you talking about,” the manager said.
