Bayern Munich veteran forward Thomas Muller has rejected Fiorentina offer to sign him on a free transfer this summer.

Muller is leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the season when his current contract expires, bringing an end to a 17-year career that has seen him rise through the ranks at the club.

He hasn’t talked about his future after his 25 years at Bayern will end after the Club World Cup June 15-July 13 in the United States.

“I have pursued nothing during these deciding weeks,” Müller said after last week’s Champions League exit against Inter Milan.

Retirement is unlikely because Müller said he wanted to continue at Bayern where others also expect him to play on after his exit.

“I have the feeling that he still enjoys football a lot,” midfielder Joshua Kimmich said, adding that he and Müller have talked about the issue.

Serie A giants Fiorentina เว็บพนันออนไลน์ UFABET สมัครง่าย โปรโมชั่นมากมาย are keen to sign Muller as a free agent this summer.

However, Christian Falk, a journalist for German publication reported that Muller, now 35, has no interest in moving to Italy and has already rejected an offer from the Viola.

Muller has a chance to end his Bayern career by leading the team to a 13th Bundesliga title, currently leading Leverkusen by 8 points with 4 games remaining.
